Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN), a nonprofit focused on gender equality in the nutraceutical industry, has announced its first in-person WIN Leadership Summit from April 25-26 at the Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona.

The summit begins with optional activities on the afternoon of Friday, April 25. On Saturday, April 26, there will be a full day of leadership development, featuring an opening keynote by Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary, a neurologist and Ayurvedic practitioner, titled “Reviving the Goddess: Empowering Modern Female Entrepreneurs.”

Amy Summers, founder and president of Pitch Publicity and INICIVOX, will share her insights in the session “Adopting a Mentorship Mentality.” Attendees will learn how to integrate mentorship into their daily leadership style and build authentic, meaningful connections that benefit both the mentor and her team.

The session “Passion, Purpose, and Profit” will cover how to align personal passions, professional purpose, and profit strategies in an interactive workshop. Attendees will gain actionable insights, sustainable innovations, and techniques for profit acceleration.

The session “Breaking the Lab Ceiling: Empowering Female Scientists for Leadership and C-Suite Advancement” will delve into the unique challenges female scientists face in reaching executive leadership roles, building essential leadership skills early on, with the ultimate goal of leadership at the highest levels. The session will cover how the industry can support scientists in personal and professional development to thrive in executive roles and build influence.

Additional sessions will cover a variety of topics such as networking, inclusive leadership, developing a personal brand, and battling imposter syndrome.

There will be a limited number of vendors at the Leadership Summit, who provide products and services for the nutraceuticals industry. WIN Gold and Platinum sponsors may request a complimentary display table from [email protected].

Summit registration costs $275 for WIN members and $450 for non-members. Attendees will be responsible for lodging, and WIN has provided a list of hotels.

“I’m so excited about the content that is being created for our first Leadership Summit,” said Rebecca Takemoto, executive director. “While the aim is to broaden leadership skills, the content will be applicable to attendees of all skill and experience levels. At WIN we are focused on helping our members reach their own personal and professional potential. The Leadership Summit is right in line with that. I am confident that every attendee will leave having experienced more than one ah-ha moment.”
